Keiichi Kimura
1935 Born in Shitaya-Takecho, Tokyo
1958 Graduated from the Photography Department of Nihon University's College of Art and entered the research office of photographer Yoshio Watanabe.
1960 Became a freelance photographer, entering the realm of news photography mainly in weekly and monthly tabloids.
1968 Won the eighth Kodansha Photo Award for the series "Kigyo no Saizensen" (Corporate Front Lines).
1973 Became lecturer at the Photography Department of Nihon University's College of Art.
1975 Visited Germany at the request of the Education Ministry for Japan-Germany Visual Instructor Meeting and photography research.
1992 Held photo exhibition "Hakushu no Mizu" (Water of Hakushu) at Ginza Fuji Photo Salon.
1994 Held photo exhibition "Kyo -Rakuchu Rakugai 1975" (Kyoto Cityscape 1975) at JCII Photo Salon.
2004 Held photo exhibition "San-nin Ten" (Three-man Exhibition) [Keiichi Kimura, Keisuke Kumakiri, and Kenji Nagatomo] at Fuji Photo Salon.
2005 Has been writing the Test Report column on the latest cameras for the magazine NIPPON CAMERA continuously since 1977, now in its 31st year.
Held photo exhibition "San-nin Ten" (Three-man Exhibition) for the second time at Canon Salon.
2008 Held photo exhibition "Edo Tokyo -Shitamachi Biyori" (Edo Tokyo Downtown Days) at Canon Gallery.
