The heavy-duty camera body is designed to perform superbly and unfailingly in harsh, demanding outdoor conditions. It is waterproof, for the capture of images down to 12 meters, and for up to two hours continuously; it has the shock-resistance to endure a fall from a height of 1.5 meters; it is dust-proof, protecting the inner mechanisms from dust and dirt; it has the cold resistance for reliable operations at temperatures as low as -10°C; and it even has the load resistance to withstand a weight of 100kgf.
