The advanced GPS function lets you record the precise position of your photos, along with the images. By installing the included software or other applications onto your computer, you can easily link this image data with on-screen maps.

The camera keeps accurate track of your movements by automatically receiving GPS signals at a fixed interval, then saves the data as a KML-format file. This allows you to retrace your movement on a computer using KML-format-compatible online services such as Google Earth™ and Google Maps™, adding an exciting, brand-new dimension to your digital photography.

Note: Position data may not be recorded when the camera cannot receive GPS signals due to unfavorable conditions.

Note: A commercial mounting device is required to install the camera onto a vehicle.
